At St. Joe Football, we are proud to have Tyler Torlone mentoring our Defensive Backs. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.  He graduated from Cabell Midland High School in 2007 and and was an invited walk on at Marshall University. While a member of the Thundering Herd in 2007 and 2008 Torlone was a part of the defensive secondary. Tyler is an active duty veteran of the U.S. Army and holds a masters degree in secondary education. He is also a proud family man, married to his wife Beth since 2012 and with one beautiful daughter, Nora.

Coach Torlone is in his first year at the High School as a Math teacher. We are excited to have Tyler as part of the St. Joe Football family.

Coach Hill on Tyler:  "Coach Torlone has been a welcomed surprise addition to our staff.  The day he was hired here I knew I wanted him to be a part of the launch of Irish Football.  His background both playing and his time in the military are great examples of the kind of people we want here at St. Joe.  He is a local guy and a Marshall alum with close ties to the community.  We are very lucky to have him working with our young student athletes."
